The Sylvie has a canvas print on the outside as well as a suede, directional print, upholstery fabric on the base and straps.  It is decent size and can carry books, purse items, and more.  The straps are long enough for this to be a shoulder bag.  The inside is a pink polka dot premium quilt cotton fabric.  The bag features antique brass hardware.  This is the "Everyday" Sylvie which is the middle size for this bag.  
 
The finished size is roughly: 12-1/2"W x 14-1/2" H x 3-1/2" D.
